A artist is made. I honestly feel like even if your born with talent there is always a way for you to improve it. An artist can be a artist in different ways. Its all up to what type of artist you want to be.
Hi :) This is Ricardo from Yearbook. Just wanted to stop by to leave my opinion on this discussion. :). I think an artist is made. When i was younger i was terrible at drawing. But with hard work I never gave up and now I'm much better than i ever thought. With the right ambitions and much hard work, anybody can become an artist. Some are born with talent that gives them an advantage but anybody can eventually make it. Welp there you have it. An artist is made.
In my opinion, an artist is born. I think that if someone is born with a talent, they know how to use that talent. Anyone can be taught how to do something or how to be good at something, but someone who is born to do something, appreciates it more and is better at that certain thing. Someone who is born with a talent, is unique. For example, anyone can be taught how to draw. Someone who is born with the talent to draw, is more prone to using it wisely and using it to the best of his/her ability.
I believe that an artist is both born and made. Because you can be born to love art and art can be something you want to do for the rest of your life. But you can also be someone who didn't originally think they wanted to do art and find out that you really love art, and become an artist. I think it just depends on the person and who they define as an artist. An artist isn't necessarily someone who always loved art as long as they love art now that is all that matters.
I believe an artist is born. When you are a little kid growing up you're true talents start to develop. Sometimes as a child you may love to draw and you immedently learn to pick up your crayon and draw and draw. An artist is born and later on develop his or her skills as they grow up.
I think that an artist is both born and made. Some people are lucky to be born with a passion for something and to be able to pursue that one thing they dream of for years. There are others who aren't so lucky and have to experience a number of things in life order to find what they're really made of.
In my opinion, an artist is made. People have the ability to learn art. When you research the definition of an artist, you'll see that it's someone who draws/paints for a profession/hobby. You can pick up a pen today, and learn to draw just as well as someone who's been doing it from young. Therefore, an artist is made an artist, not born an artist.

Artist are made due to the fact that they have alot of determination,patience and Practice. An artist is made throughout the years with time and effort. An artist is made everyday ! #YOLO
An artist is usually born but also can be made. If the artist has enough potential and skill then they could be both. One can be born an artist and be made as a better artist. One can be made into an artist by simply going further into the skill.
AN ARTIST CAN BE BORN AND OR MADE. FOR EX. ONE COULD CREAT SOMETHING FOR THE FIRST TIME AND ITS CALLED A WORK OF ART. HOW EVER THERE ARE THOSE WHO TRY AND TRY UNTIL THEY HAVE MASTERED THAT SIMPLE SKILL THUS BEING MADE. ALTHOUGH THOSE THAT ARE BORN WILL SOON BECOME MADE. BECAUSE ONE STILL HAVE SKILLS TO LEARN.IN ARE THERE IS ALWAYS SOMETHING NEW TO LEARN. SP:-)
An artist is made because when you are born, a baby does not automatically start making their own work. An artist is made also because a person always has to make improvements whether an artist or not. Not many people know what they are good at so it's impossible to not be born an artist. A person can make themselves an artist by getting all the help they need to improve to become a better artist.

I think a artist is born but in order for them to see their full potential, they have to contribute effort and determination. Someone can be an artist but not know it because they lack ambition and motivation. How much of an artist you want to be is up to you.
In my opinion, I think that artists are made and I say this because no one is born knowing how to draw. The skills that are taught can make an artist look like they were born with it. When people get truly inspired by artists, they have a passion and a goal to do what they did. I also think that people are born artists because its a natural talent.

I believe that an artist is made due to many reasons. The reason why I think so is because a person is not born as a true artist. Most of the time, people must practice because one does not become a professional as soon as their enter this world. If one wants to be successful or good at this profession, they must start at the bottom and work their way up. Therefore an artist is made through all the experiences they've received, making them a better artist.

The definition of an artist is what you truly make it to be. I am an artist because I am able to create many different ideas and collide them as one central piece or concept. Its truly how you interpret what an artist is. You are born with your talents we just discover them at different points of life. You will never truly know your talent if you don't go out and explore.
I believe that an artist is made because you can be born talent but without practicing your skills and different techniques to master that talent then what's the point. You have to make your talent into something worthy of being successful one day & that's how an artist is made.
